Wainscot & Chair Rail Detail w/ 1x & ogee
Classic Wainscot consisting of: 1x6 baseboard, 1x6 chair with a 3" rail, 1x4 vertical stiles, then everything is trimmed with a 1.5" ogee moulding. This gives a nice recessed panel look. You could also add solid raised panels inside the framework or add applied panel moulding for more detail.
